Review - Kirketon Boutique Hotel (Sydney, Australia)

I was up in Sydney recently on an overnight trip and had the pleasure of staying that the Kirketon Boutique Hotel in Darlinghurst. it is a beautiful 40 room hotel not far from Kings Cross and just down the road from Oxford Street in Sydney. This hotel is in the perfect location if you are looking for a quite place to stay that is modern and personal.

Review - Boscolo Magglio Consiglio Hotel (Treviso, Italy)

North of Venice is the picturesque town of Treviso. If you happen to be staying here, one of the better places in town (well almost in town) is the Boscolo Hotel. It is relatively modern, with good size rooms however all that glistens is not gold, there are some draw backs from this Hotel.

Qantas Delivers Great Service

Over the last couple of years i have racked up hundreds of flights on airlines around the world. What is interesting is noticing the trends that occur in the quality of service and what the airlines are doing about it. Imagine my surprise when i had a not so pleasant experience on Qantas and they actually gave me a refund (almost) without even asking.

If you are ever in Paris and want to hang out at a great sports bar, then The Great Canadian is the place to be. THey have heaps of screens, lots of sports (not just Nth American) and a fun atmosphere. Check it out next time you are in Paris.

Review - Jillians Sports Bar (San Francisco, CA)

Now i have a very soft spot for Jillians Bar, just south of Market Street, in San Francisco. I originally came across this place at a National Association of Realtors conference in 2004 (or so). I was looking for a place to chill out, have a beer and watch some of the NFL. Well i happened to stumble across Jillians just near the convention centre and i haven’t looked back.

Review - The Piano Bar (Kensington High Street, London)

If you take the tube to Kensington High Street and walk straight out of the tube and cross the road, you will see a small door with the words “Piano Bar” above it. Enter it and you’ll have a heap of fun. This is London’s version of Don’t Tell Mama’s in New York. If you are looking for a fun night in London, you cant go past the Piano Bar.
